Parker Fly guitars
Ken Parker knew exactly what he was doing when he introduced his revolutionary solidbody guitars to music enthusiasts in 1982. He called them "Fly" guitars because of their weight: a beautifully balanced 5 lbs. Parker Fly guitars are a perfect blend of electric and acoustic sounds due to their onslought of duel Dimarzio Humbucker pick-ups, and Fishman Passive-Piezo transducer systems. Some of the other features you will see on other standard Flys are as follows: Locking Sperzel tuners, 24 spring-tempered stainless steel frets, and the optional Parker vibrato bridge. Finally, all Parker guitars are covered with a layer of carbon/glass/epoxy to maximize the lifespan of the instrument. Even though they are a bit steep at an asking price of $2750 ($2850 w Hiscox Molded hardshell case) you definately get what you pay for.

The Parker NiteFly
The Fly's younger brother the NiteFly shares many of the same features listed above, although there are several differences. The NiteFly is Parker's first bolt-on-neck guitar and comes in either a sing/sing/sing or sing/sing/hum pick-up configuration. This axe can be found in 5 different finishes, and is much more affordable than the Fly at up to $1349. Comes with a Levy gig bag. This guitar proves that Parker's committment to perfection continues......
